Mercury mTAB Air tablet with 7.85-inch display, dual sim 3G calling launched

Kobain the company behind the Mercury brand of PC peripherals and tablets today announced the launch of Mercury mTab Air tablet priced at Rs 10,999.

Opting for a 7-85-inch IPS display with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution  in lieu for the segment standard 7-inch, the mTab Air runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Powering the tablet is a 1Ghz Dual Core MTK8312 speed processor, 1GB RAM and includes a 8GB internal storage with an option to expand it up to 32GB via a microSD slot.

mTab Air comes with a dual camera with a modest 2-megapixel camera on the rear and a VGA camera on the front. mTAB Air is enabled with 3G voice calling through dual sim by supporting WCDMA,GSM & EVDO. A 3800mAh battery takes care of the battery juice.
