LeTv holds its first Le Meetup in Bangalore; Pit stops at other cities to follow

Beijing headquartered LeTv has made ripples in tech world in a shortest span of time with their world’s first 120-inch 3D 4K Ultra HD TV and Smartphones (it calls them Superphones!). So far they have launched in China four Superphones – Le 1, Le 1 Pro, Le Max and Le 1s. Though they are a new entrant in the Smartphone market, LeTv has a 10 years history having started their operation in 2004 in the internet, content and cloud ecosystem. The company stresses on building the “Le Ecosystem,” a next-generation multi-platform Internet engine that is vertically integrated across its video streaming, content, cloud, application and smart device businesses. Stepping outside the Chinese market, LeTv is setting up its footprints on Indian market which is been of late welcoming new players who are adept at user engagement and offering value for money products. As a first step towards community engagement, within a span of few months, the team at LeTv has been actively engaging with the fans (SuperFans,  as they would call!) in their official LeTv forum and social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. As a prelude to the official launch of their first Smartphone in India, they have chalked out a series of Le Meetups in various cities across India to engage with their fans (SuperFans !), bloggers and social media influencers. Bangalore was to host the first Le Meetup and I happened to attend their very first meet and also get a hands-on their phablet, Le Max. At this point, let me also add, do look forward to some exciting videos and articles on Le Max in coming days and for now, let me say I was mighty impressed. le me The very friendly LeTv detailed out the plans of the company as well as how they intend to be a ‘friendly’ team with an ears and eyes open to fans and bloggers to forge a successful road ahead. The enthusiasm was evident both from the Indian team as well as the fans about the brand, and I wish it stays like that unlike some companies which treaded a similar path but only to build a halo soon after tasting the success. (Am not going to pull any names here!) Le Meets gives an opportunity to get a hands-on the devices and thus for the Super fans and the media to talk about their experiences. Also to interact with the team and have an open discussion to understand them better. The Bangalore meet up had all the lively conversation, energy and goodies for all those who attended. On a lighter note, the Chinese names can be confusing and for those wondering how Le Tv is pronounced it is L-E-TV. Simple. Ivan Wang, Head , Digital Marketing said “ It has been a truly rewarding experience interacting with our fans and followers. We recognize that they are vital and hence we have ensured that our comment response rate is 98% and response time is 3 three minutes.  This is a new benchmark in the industry and has been acknowledged by our fans in this very forum” Le Meetups will be held in multiple cities the next one will be held in Delhi on Dec 30th and 9th of January followed by one in Hyderabad. On January 5th, the company is also holding a media preview meet wherein it will make more concrete announcements pertaining to Indian market. For all the LeTv announcements, keep a watch on us.]]>
