Lenovo India launches Yoga 500 – 14″ display, i7 processor, 1TB storage

Along side Yoga 300, the most affordable in the Yoga series, Lenovo India also launched the Yoga 500 for those seeking good performance, mobility and convenience of the convertibles.

The Windows 8.1 laptop convertible offers four different modes: laptop, tablet, tent, or stand and is priced at Rs. 71,490. It will be available from exclusive Lenovo stores across India and online at the company’s own

The Yoga 500 sports a 14-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS multi-touch display. It is powered by fifth generation 64-bit Intel Core i7-5500U processor (2 cores, 4 threads, 2.4GHz base clock, up to 3GHz burst, 4MB cache) combined with 8GB of DDR3L RAM and Intel integrated graphics along with the Nvidia GeForce 920M (N16V-GM) GPU.

There is a 720p HD camera with array mic. . The connectivity features of the laptop include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI, and a headphone and mic combo jack For audio experience there are two 1.5W speakers with Dolby audio technology to enhance it. There are no optical disc drive. It weighs 1.8 kilograms and is 9.25mm in thickness. There is a 3 cell 45W battery which the company claims will run the machine up to 6 hours.

It will be available in Black and White colour variants.
