Though Iris 501 featured a dual-core processor, Iris 502 is powered by a single core processor. It’s a dual-SIM smartphone supporting a GSM and a WCDMA connection with dual standby mode. Back to Iris 502, it sports a 5-inch WVGA with a 480×800 pixels. Powered by a 1 Ghz processor and 512 RAM it has an internal memory of 4 GB out of which 2 GB is available for users. The expandable memory of the phone is up to 32 GB via  microSD card. On the shooter side, the Iris 502 has a  5 megapixel primary camera with auto focus, LED flash and features like Face Detection, Panorama, Image stabilization, Zero shutter lag. It supports HD recording at a speed of 30 frames per second for better videos. On the front is a VGA camera. Connectivity options include GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, USB and WiFi tethering facility to make the phone a WiFi hub.  With a 2000 mAh Li- Polymer battery packed in, it gives a 9 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby time. The device is available in black and white color options and comes pre-loaded with apps like Fusion, Saavn, Saving Private Sheep,Hike, Cricket Fever, Shark Dash, News and Weather, Lava Care.
