Amidst the cut-throat competition witnessed in Indian mobile market, Honor has managed to find its footing with Honor 6 and Honor Holly. Now, the Huawei’s smartphone e-brand that retails only on e-commerce platform has introduced two new models – Honor 4X, a budget offering and Honor 6 Plus, a flagship device with first of a kind parallel dual-camera at the rear. Both the Smartphones will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. The Honor 6 Plus sales will follow a little later at April. Honor-4x A quick brief on the specs of Honor 4x. The 5.5-inch device has a 1280 x 720 pixel IPS display. Like most of the respected rivals in this league, the Honor 4X too is powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. There is a 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 32GB. On the camera side, the Honor 4X fits in a 13-megapixel rear camera sourced from Sony with a f/2.0 aperture. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera comes with various beauty tools for selfies. The dual-SIM phone suports 4G SIM on both the slots. With a whooping 3,000mAh battery, the battery should not be much of a concern with the 4X and the company claims a 72 hours of battery life with regular usage and we will ascertain it in our review shortly. The 4X runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 with EMUI 3.0 on top of it. The UI is interesting with notable features that we will cover in our review. The features include a magazine style unlock screen with quick launch settings. Honor-6-Plus Talking about the Honor 6 Plus, the first thing you notice is the  bionic parallel dual 8-megapixel rear camera sensors, which the company calls “symmetrical dual camera technology”. The camera setup offers an aperture range of f/0.9 to f/16 found usually in DSLR lens. It features a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD in-cell display and runs on a 1.8 GHz Hisilicon Kirin 925 octa-core processor coupled with a Mali-T628 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB. Baked in Android 4.4 KitKat OS with a topping of Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.0, the dual-SIM 6 Plus  packs a 3600mAh battery. Both are exciting offerings and neat addition to the Honor line-up and look forward to our reviews very shortly.    ]]>
