Google Play Books Now Available in India

books Apart from free-to-download books, the paid e-books starts at Rs.50. The purchased books are stored in cloud thus enabling the user to read it on the web, a phone, or a tablet and pick up right where you left off. On your android smartphones or tablets, one can start immediately reading through the Google Play book app. If you are on computer, your downloaded books could be read in web browser. For those iPhone and iPad users, there is also a Google Play books app  available in iTunes for your reading convenience. Though as of now Google is silence about offering movies and music, the launch of Google Play books is significant in itself since Google is reluctant in opening its Google content in emerging markets with only Brazil  is the only other country to get access to Books back in December, 2012. Although, Brazil also got movies and music content along with books unlike India, where Google chose to test the waters with Books initially. India is the fourth largest country for Google Play downloads, so it’s natural for Google to focus on the market. To visit Google Play Book, click HERE Source: Official Google India Blog]]>
