Digital Waves launches Tab Plus Rio priced under 10K

mela is a bangalore based company Digital Waves with its debut model Tab Plus Rio to carve a slice of sub-10K tablet pie. Looking at the spec sheet the tablet packs the punch with 1 Ghz Cortex A9 processor, 512 MB RAM, a 7 inch liquid flow 5 point capacitive display screen, 3G support through USB dongle and host of other features that we will list further down. Like most of the tablets, Tab Plus Rio too runs on Android Gingerbread. The tab comes with an internal built-in storage of 4 Gb with a provision for expandable storage upto 32 Gb via micro SD. Yes, the tablet comes with accelorometer and it sports a 4-dimensional G-sensor. The 7″ LCD display provides a 800 x 480 resolution. Sorry no bluetooth here but you got Wi-Fi support. With only one front camera with a meagre 0.3 mb, it is not that an attractive feature over here. The tablet supports quiet a wide range of video and audio formats and also supports HD playback. It is fuelled with a 3000 mAh battery. Tab Plus Rio is priced at Indian Rupees 9,900.]]>
